During my bachelor’s in Industrial Design, I have been able to explore the field and recognize what aspects inspire me overall. I have followed the course brain, body & behavior of the study Psychology and Technology at the TU/e, in order to evaluate if this master track would be more fitting to my vision. I have come to the conclusion that I was utterly interested in how the brain functions on a practical and psychological level. However, I missed the creative aspect that I resonate with the most on the Industrial Design path. Therefore, in order to combine both, I am planning to continue with my studies following the master’s track in Industrial Design, while laying a focus on human psychology during future projects.

In addition to my studies, I’m conducting a project for the middle school I attended. Due to the school being promoted to ‘Apple distinguished school’, I offered to develop a project regarding this special occurrence. In order to acquire materials, 3 distinct sponsors have been acquired, providing aluminum plates, perspex covers, and wool. This project contains various elements of technology, together with coding in the accompanied software Arduino. Subsequently, I am able to gain experience in the area of expertise Technology & Realization, as well as Math Data & Computing. Furthermore, experience in the area of Business & Entrepreneurship had been gained when communicating with sponsors as well as communicating with the school itself. Aesthetics of Interaction, as well as User & Society, will come to light in a future prospect of the project, essentially completing a full design process in real-time.
